Project Background:

The Autonomous Dwelling was an exercise in pushing the boundary between dwelling and machine. The focus of this project was to create a building that physically adapts to internal environmental changes when occupied (cooking, sleeping, lounging, washing), and external environmental changes such as seasonal temperature and day-light shifts.
